In 2016, the customer approached the Loovatech team to update the public section of an educational portal. The portal had already been launched by another contractor. The update was scheduled for early 2017. Originally, the project was built on a legacy educational platform, and a third-party integrator was involved in the development from 2015 until the end of 2016.
Our client develops electronic educational content for innovative economy sector, training engineering and management personnel in EMEA region.
— problems to be solved
Loovatech team analyzed the project and drafted specifications, considering customer priorities. They proposed a portal implementation with two integrated systems: an e-Learning platform and a redesigned public website. The new interface includes CMS integration, improved user experience, and expanded content and SEO opportunities.
At launch, educational portal had 50 training courses available to end users.
In October 2017, Loovatech updated the educational portal, transforming it into a hybrid of two integrated systems. This modern, fast portal provided a seamless experience for end users, enhanced content management, and expanded marketing tools, enabling the marketing department to meet customer attraction and retention KPIs.
Over 1500 legacy site pages were migrated to the new platform, and advanced tools were added for system administrators and content managers.
